If you're heading off on holidays, remember sun, wind and salt water are going to play havoc with your hair, leaving coloured hair a few shades lighter unless you cover up during the day with a fetching sunhat.
To minimise the impact on your image, make sure you have a cut and protein treatment just before you head off on holiday - that way your hair will be in the best possible condition to start with.
If you're swimming and sunbathing without a hat, Jacqui recommends using a fab product by Wella Bi phase called Sp15, which protects and conditions while you're soaking up the rays.

If your hair has been falling out more than usual for longer than three months, have a blood test. You could be low in iron or you may have an under- or over-active thyroid. A few corrective supplements can redress the balance permanently.

If your scalp is dry and flaky, try cutting down on caffeine. First of all, drink more water - at least two litres a day.
For a really nourishing treatment, apply olive oil all over the scalp.... Yes, you heard right! Massage into the scalp for three mins. Leave for 15 minutes, then shampoo and condition as usual. Cod liver oil capsules have had great results for some of our clients. Check out Holland and Barrett, who stock them.

Looking gorgeous isn't necessarily a two-hour effort. It can be made quick and easy. The secret ingredient is Bare Minerals. Just a touch of these light, extremely fine granules can make a huge difference. The foundation gives a flawless coverage which also nourishes the skin. It's great for an instant complexion boost, or to conceal acne, rosacea and broken capillaries.

Base: shake a small amount of foundation into the lid. Swirl, tap and buff with a large blusher brush using circular movements. Start from the outside of the face working towards the centre of the nose and back out again.
Blush: you can also add a touch of Bare Minerals radiance to the cheeks, eyelids, forehead, chin and bridge of nose, using a medium blusher brush.
Eyes: using a black/charcoal or brown eye pencil draw a fine line close to the top and bottom of the eyelids, smudge with cotton bud.
Lashes: If you want thick, lush lashes, go for Maybelline volume express.
Lips: Bare Minerals Lustrous Lip Gloss is all you need.
